ApexTrek™ ski poles
How the ApexTrek poles are built
Cam-lever flip-lock
Each collar closes with a cam lever that you flip open or shut with one thumb. You set the height without tools, and the same lever works over gloves when you adjust on the move.
Two basket sizes
Small baskets suit dirt and rock. Large powder baskets suit snow and soft ground. Both sets are in the box, so you pack one pair of poles for summer hiking and ski touring.

Tungsten carbide tips
The tips are tungsten carbide and come pre-installed on both poles. You plant them on rock, shale or packed mud as you walk, and they are the contact point with the ground.
6061 aluminum shafts
The shafts are made from 6061 aluminum alloy. This is a metal pole, not a carbon one, which matters if you pack your gear with other hard items or want a metal shaft.
