How the AlpineFlow bladder is built

Wide-mouth opening

The wide opening lets you get a hand and a brush inside the reservoir. It also takes ice cubes and makes post-trip rinsing and scrubbing easier to plan into your unpacking routine.

TPU and EVA materials

The reservoir and hose are made from TPU and EVA, which are food-grade materials. They are the parts that touch your water on the trail.

Threaded hose and shutoff

The hose attaches through a threaded connector, and a rotary shutoff switch closes the line. Twist the switch to the off position between sips when the bladder is packed in your bag.

Reinforced TPU composite

The bladder is built from a reinforced TPU composite with double-seal edges. This is the construction used to give the reservoir body its shape and structure inside a loaded pack.

The wide-mouth opening is sized for standard ice cubes, so you can add ice along with water before you head out. Fill it at home or at the trailhead, then seal and load it into your pack.
