Trail camera features at a glance

Weather-sealed housing

The housing is weather-sealed to keep moisture away from the lens and internals. It is made for outdoor mounting on a tree or post during hunting season.

WiFi phone connection

ScoutEye connects to your phone over WiFi. Photos and videos sync to the app, and the camera does not use a cellular plan to send them.

Sensitivity adjustment

You can adjust the motion sensitivity to suit the spot. Use it for a trail, a scrape line or a property edge, and change the setting if it picks up too much.

20MP sensor

The 20MP sensor records still images, and the camera also records video. It is intended for day and night use, so you can look over what passed in front of the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. ScoutEye connects to your phone over WiFi and syncs photos and videos to the app. You will be within WiFi range of the camera when you connect, so plan your check-in spot.

Sensitivity is adjustable on the camera. Set it for the size of animal and the spot you are watching, then look through a few photos and change the setting if you want fewer or more triggers.

No memory card is included, so buy one before your first trip. ScoutEye supports 128GB cards. Insert it before you strap the camera up so it is ready to record.

Use the adjustable mounting strap to fasten it around a tree or post. Pick the height and angle you want, aim it along the trail or scrape line, and pull the strap snug.

The USB charging and data cable in the box connects the camera to a USB power source or a computer. Use it to charge, and to copy files when you want them off the card.

Point it at a trail, scrape line or other spot where animals pass. Clear brush from the front of the lens so branches do not sit in the frame or trigger the sensor.

Wipe dirt and moisture from the housing and lens with a soft cloth. Let it dry fully before you store it, and keep the strap and USB cable together with it in your pack.

Open the companion app while you are within WiFi range of the camera. Photos and videos sync from the camera to the app, where you can browse them on your phone.

A WiFi trail camera such as ScoutEye syncs photos to a phone over WiFi, with no cellular plan or SIM card. Cellular models send images over mobile networks and use a data plan.

The ScoutEye trail camera includes an adjustable mounting strap, a USB charging and data cable, and a quick start user guide. A memory card is not included and must be bought separately.

ScoutEye: A WiFi Trail Camera for Hunting and Scouting

ScoutEye is a trail camera for hunters who scout deer trails, scrape lines and property edges. A 20MP sensor captures photos and video, and the housing is weather-sealed for rain, snow and cold.

Unlike a cellular trail camera, it syncs to a phone over WiFi, so no monthly data plan is involved. Hunters comparing a game camera, hunting game cameras or deer cameras can note the adjustable motion sensitivity, which is set for the size and distance of the animals being watched.

Like other hunting cameras, it mounts to a tree or post with a strap. It supports SD cards with a 128GB maximum capacity, and no card is included.
